Why Threads on the web is a game changer
When Meta’s Twitter-like social network launched in July, nearly 100 million people signed up within the first five days. It’s no surprise that many of these users were hoping for a better experience than Twitter, which had just rebranded (though somewhat half-baked) to X.
While Threads experienced massive growth, quickly, it lacked something the social network formally known as Twitter did not — a web-based application.
For this reason, many users have held out using Threads, opting instead to wait until the platform was available on their desktop or laptop machines.
